Quick Pumpkin Pie Dip

In the mood for a quick pumpkin pie dessert, but don’t have the time for a homemade pumpkin pie?  This quick pumpkin pie dip is fast, easy, delicious, and healthy too!  You’ll be surprised at how much you love it!  The chocolate chips (of course are optional) bring the sweet satisfaction that helps this quick pumpkin pie dip become a great healthy alternative to other desserts (healthy pumpkin cheesecake anyone?).

Quick Pumpkin Pie Dip

Ingredients:

1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree

1 Tablespoon homemade peanut butter

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 cup to 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

apples, carrots, grahams, etc. for dipping . . . or enjoy with a spoon!

Directions:

1.  In a small bowl, combine pumpkin and peanut butter, mixing until well combined.

2. Stir in cinnamon and chocolate chips, if you are using them (if not, the dip will be less sweet, so if that is an issue you for you, feel free to add in a teaspoon of sweetener.  Really, you shouldn’t need any extra sugar, especially if you are using apples to dip!)

3.  Heat in a microwave for about 90 seconds, or until heated through.  OR, warm in a 350 degree oven for about five minutes, also until heated through.

4.  Remove from heat source and serve!  Best enjoyed warm 🙂

Enjoy!
