Berry Sorbet

One of the easiest (honestly) and quickest dessert recipes, this berry sorbet will quickly become a family favorite (it has for us!).  Made with only frozen fruit and almond milk, this sorbet (sherbet) is not only one of the best quick and easy desserts you will find, it is healthy and delicious, too!  If you don’t have time for a more complicated healthy dessert, this frozen treat is sure to please, one you can make in countless varieties (I have tried tropical blend, strawberry, and mango too!) right before serving.  Make too much?  It can even be refrozen and stored for later, but you might have to let it thaw (or microwave it for a few seconds) before enjoying at the right consistency and texture again.

Ever wonder what the difference is between a sorbet and a sherbet?  Technically, a sorbet recipe has ingredients consisting of frozen fruit or flavored water and sweetener, usually sugar.  A sherbet will be creamier, and a sherbet recipe will consist of frozen fruit added to eggs, milk, or cream and sugar or sweetener.  So, whether you consider this a sugar-free berry sorbet, or a a vegan sherbet, I hope you enjoy!
